The first stage of construction of the BIK Park Wrocław logistics center ended with the commissioning of 25,000 sq m of warehouse space, located in an attractive location – near the exit of the A4 motorway in Nowa Wieś Wrocławska. The investment, compared to similar objects of this type, is distinguished by an above average technological level. There are, among others loading docks with movable ramps, sprinkler system (ESFR), and the facility itself is heated and ventilated. The floor was chosen so that it could withstand a weight of 6 tons per 1 m2. The storage height is 10 m net. The scale of the investment clearly shows that BIK Park Wrocław is at the forefront of this type of facilities not only in south-west Poland, but throughout the country.

The culmination of modern solutions implemented in BIK Park Wrocław is the Smart Roof platform, provided by Sense Monitoring. Sense S-One roof sensors have been installed on 25,000 m2 flat roof, whose main task is constant monitoring of the structure. Operating sensors collect current information about the deflection arrow, roof load (e.g. due to soaked insulation or snow), and patency of roof outlets. The Smart Roof platform is also a facilitation for the future installation of solar systems on a flat roof. In addition to roof load sensors, the second key element of the solution is the web application. It provides convenient, constant access to all information collected by sensors. With the help of legible charts and graphics, each person using the application has an insight into the strategic data necessary for the efficient, safe and economical operation of a flat roof.

The market for property developers and managers is highly competitive. In order to stay at the forefront or gain the trust of customers, it is necessary to constantly modernize warehouses or halls. We make sure that all objects in our portfolio are characterized by innovative solutions – but only those that result from the clients’ natural needs and strictly respond to their challenges. That is why we decided to implement the Smart Roof platform with full conviction. Knowing how important it is for our customers to ensure employee safety and maintain the continuity of processes taking place in the halls, we have installed modern sensors to monitor the roof structure” says Mirosław Koszany, president of the board of Biuro Inwestycji Kapitałowych.
