Deflections refer to deformations in the structure. Every optimally designed roof naturally bends under load. The safe range of deflections is strictly defined in the construction design. During the roof’s use, exceeding the so-called limit states is not permitted. Deflections within the specified safe range are not dangerous – the structure is designed to flex and move safely.
