Established in 1994 in Cracow, OKNOPLAST Group aims to create aesthetic windows of the highest quality, a feature confirmed by the numerous awards and esteem of the countless satisfied customers around the world. The company invests in innovation, not only offering products with a modern or classical design, but also utilizing the latest technologies, which ensures the best parameters of its products.
The first manufacturing facilities were constructed towards the end of the 1990s, and the entire factory was gradually expanded to 38,000 m2 it occupies today, with all the halls assembled in the Llentabhallen system. Sense Monitoring’s collaboration with the client began with a very honest conversation about their previous experiences with roof maintenance. We set up the Sense S-One system in a way that allows for reliable measurements of possible structural deflections that can negatively impact the production, e.g. stop a gantry. Since Oknoplast’s halls are designed very economically with a minimal amount of light under the trusses, we placed our sensor and target board above the bottom level of the girder to ensure that no production occurs in this space – and the traffic is really busy, 24 hours a day. Additionally, we managed to solve the issue with the frequent monitoring of the roof inlets that, when clogged, can result in the rain water damming.
